Notifications by Email
Most of our notifications will be sent to you by email only. Just like your postal address, the email address you provide must be correct and must, if necessary, be updated (Library Regulations, § 3,9). Fines resulting from failure to provide a valid email address will be charged to your account.
Notifications by Post
For legal reasons we are obliged to send the last reminder, overdue notice or notification of fees and fines by post or, as the case may be, as an affidavit of service ("Postzustellungsurkunde").
Change of Address
- TU Dortmund students have to change their addresses via the Student Registration Office
- TU Dortmund staff have to change their addresses via Department 3
- external users: please inform our service centre of any changes to your postal address by submitting an official document
