• good expression and text comprehension skills as well as diligence and organizational skills

• training lasts three years, high-school graduates (Abitur) may pass the training within 2 years
• the dual training takes place alternately in the University Library and at the vocational school Karl-Schiller-Berufskolleg.
• TU Dortmund aims to increase its proportion of severely disabled employees. Provided that they are equally qualified for the job in question, disabled applicants will be considered preferentially.

Are you looking for an internship lasting up to two weeks, enjoy working with people, and would like to gain experience with administrative tasks? At the University Library, you’ll gain insight into the library’s user services and observe our colleagues at work.

Please apply by emailing a cover letter, resume, and proof of enrollment to ausbildung.ub@tu-dortmund.de. One-day internships (“taster days”) are available. The focus is on internships related to a degree program at TU Dortmund University. The time frame depends on your school’s schedule. Please note that, as a unit of TU Dortmund University, we can only offer unpaid student internships and mandatory internships.
