Open Access Transformation Agreement with the ACM
- Open Access
As part of its Open Access strategy, TU Dortmund University has negotiated an innovative, transformative agreement with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), which has been in effect since 1.4.2021 until further notice. This will allow members of the University to publish with ACM under an Open Access license at no additional cost (Article Processing Charges (APCs)).
Participation in this pilot program ACM OPEN [1] helps the ACM to convert its publication model to full Open Access and at the same time contributes to improving the visibility and accessibility of publications published by scientists* at TU Dortmund University.
With this agreement, TU Dortmund members can make all fully peer-reviewed articles and conference proceedings freely available in the ACM Digital Library immediately and at no additional cost. TU Dortmund pays ACM a flat fee that covers both the cost of publishing articles and subscription access to the ACM Digital Library.
