Eldorado certified as an Open Access Publication Service

The institutional repository of TU Dortmund University has been re-certified. The 2022 version of the DINI certificate focuses on international networking and a sustainable infrastructure, among other things. The 2022 revised Common Vocabulary for Publication and Document Types is also a standard for certification.
In order to become DINI-certified, institutions and service providers must fulfill certain requirements. These criteria for obtaining the certificate translate general expectations of scientific publishing into minimum requirements for OA publication services. The DINI certificate has the following objectives:
- improving the publication infrastructure for electronic publishing
- strengthening Open Access-based forms of publication
- integration capability of OA publication services in accordance with the principles of open and transparent science and research
In connection with the certification, the FAQ for Eldorado (in German) was also fundamentally revised in order to make publishing on Eldorado even more self-explanatory and generally understandable.
