Literature search and conversion service for blind and visually impaired people

Research and advice

If you have a specific request for a certain work, we will find out its availability for you. If a title is not available from us, we will try to obtain it for you from the publisher as a file and offer it to you via our document server as a full text for the blind and visually impaired.

Only for members of the Technical University of Dortmund and members of the UA Ruhr (Ruhr-University Bochum, University of Duisburg-Essen) applies : Literature requests (monographs published in bookstores, no lecture notes, exams, etc.) will be implemented according to free capacity, according to the personal specifications of the registered SfBS user (e.g. font, font size, etc.).

Lending

There are no fees for borrowing and sending media.
