Business Hours

Emil-Figge-Bibliothek

Emil-Figge-Bibliothek is open for you from Monday to Saturday until 10 p.m. (closed on holidays!). However, some of our services are only possible during service hours when library staff is present.

During Opening Hours

Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

  • borrowing and returning items
  • picking up and borrowing of reserved or ordered media
  • collection, borrow and return of interlibrary loan books
  • self issue of interlibrary loan copies
  • research PCs (stand-up PCs) for short searches 
  • paying fines at the pay machine
  • quiet working atmosphere
  • use of books, journals and of the reference collection in the library

Sebrath-Bibliothek

Sebrath-Bibliothek is open daily until 8 p.m. for your convenience (closed on holidays!). However, some of our services are only possible during service hours when library staff is present.

During Opening Hours

Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m., Saturday & Sunday: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

  • borrowing and returning items
  • workstations (individual workstations and bookable group workstations)
  • quiet work in the quiet zones
  • overhead scanners as well as a feed scanner for free scanning
  • research workstations
  • use of books and journals in the library

Car Park Escort Service

Users who are working late at the library can be escorted to the car park or to the S-Bahn station. Do not hesitate to approach our service center or our security personnel. You will also be escorted to the car park or S-Bahn from the Co-Learning Space next to the seminar room building.
