Changes in Digital Sheet Music via App: nkoda and Henle
Dortmund University Library procures media and content according to demand and consults closely with academics. Since 2023, digital sheet music has been available to all members of TU Dortmund University via an app. They were able to access scores and Urtext editions from Henle-Verlag across campus and, via the nkoda app, sheet music editions from many renowned publishers.
As this central Library service has not been as well received as other special services offered by Dortmund University Library, it will stop purchasing licenses at the end of 2025.
