Telling Your Research Story

This event, part of the “Research Support: Lunch Talks” series organized by the Office of Research Support Services, will begin with a brief introduction to the CoARA research network. It will then focus on the evolving requirements for research evaluation, which are increasingly shifting away from purely publication-based metrics toward a more holistic assessment of scholarly achievements. CoARA advocates for a fair, transparent, and holistic evaluation of science and research.
- Date: Tuesday, June 9, 2026, 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Dr. Kathrin Höhner, CoARA Representative and Deputy Library for Research-Related Services at the University Library, and Dr. Alexander Röhm, Research Associate and Assistant Professor (on leave) in Qualitative Research Methods and Strategic Communication for Health, Inclusion, and Participation, will provide insights, answer questions, and subsequently discuss with participants the opportunities and challenges associated with grant applications and academic careers.
