Opening hours Christmas and turn of the year 2025/26

All library locations will be closed from Wednesday, December 24, 2025, up to and including Friday, January 2, 2026, as part of TU Dortmund University's company vacations. On Saturday, January 3, 2026, the Emil-Figge-Bibliothek and the Sebrath-Bibliothek will reopen!

All library locations are regularly open for you until Tuesday, December 23, 2025!

Our opening hours before Christmas at a glance:

  • The Emil Figge-Bibliothek will be open as usual until 22:00 on 23.12.25. Library staff will be available to assist you until 18:00.
  • On 23.12.25, library staff will be present in the Sebrath-Bibliothek until 15:00. The library will remain open until 20:00.
  • The Campus-Süd-Bibliothek will be open until 18:00 on 23.12.25.

Outlook for 2026

From Saturday, January 3, 2026, the Emil-Figge-Bibliothek and the Sebrath-Bibliothek will be open again for you during the usual opening and service hours! The Campus-Süd-Bibliothek will reopen on Monday, January 5, 2026.
