Lost Place Tours of the old Library
You studied in Dortmund and were often in the university library on Vogelpothsweg? At the end of October 2023, the last books will move into a storage magazine for the construction period. Guided tours will give you the opportunity to take another look at the building, which will be prepared for demolition starting in November.
Lost Place Guided Tours on 28.10.2023 - TU Dortmund University Open House Day
- 11 a.m. - 12 noon - 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.
- Meeting point: Information booth of the library in the foyer Emil-Figge-Str. 50 (opposite the old building)
At our information booth you can get information about the new library building as well as about Dortmund University Library's current locations during the construction period. In the Emil-Figge-Bibliothek you will find all central services of the library during the construction phase, here you can pick up ordered media from the storage magazine and from the Sebrath-Bibliothek.
