TU Dortmund University can access electronic journals via the JSTOR digital archive and, by the end of 2025, many e-books.

The JSTOR platform offers content from around 1,500 electronic journals for TU Dortmund University. By the end of 2025, many e-books from university presses will also be included.

In JSTOR, content is only made available a few years after publication, the content of journals after 6 years. The content of books can be viewed in JSTOR if the publication date is before January 1, 2023; currently, this includes around 85,000 e-books from more than 300 publishers from 45 countries. You can find them all in catalogue plus up to December 31, 2025.

Journal articles are permanently available to you. The frequency of use will determine whether e-books remain in Dortmund University Library's permanent collection. The decision will be made at the end of 2025 when the usage figures are known.
