The Information Center for Technology and Patents (ITP) is expanding its search service: With the new trademark search EU27+, IP territories in the entire European Union, Switzerland and Great Britain can now be covered!

The Information Center for Technology and Patents (ITP) at Dortmund University Library offers an extended trade mark search on request: In addition to the well-known trademark search DACH+ for the IP territory of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the ITP now offers the new trademark search EU27+ to cover the extended IP territory of the European Union as well as Switzerland and Great Britain. This extended trade mark search is aimed in particular at anyone who is considering registering a trade mark that is also effective outside the DACH region.

The Information Center Technology and Patents - your partner for industrial property rights

The ITP offers a wide range of other services and support to protect your intellectual property. These include general advice on industrial property rights such as patents, trademarks, utility models and designs. We also offer patent searches on behalf of clients as well as search instructions in license databases, including the possibility to search independently afterwards. In addition, a free initial consultation with a patent attorney takes place every Wednesday.
