Broken doesn't necessarily mean Junk
Starting November 4, TU students and staff can meet once a month at Hylec to repair everyday items. Whether it’s installing Linux on an old laptop, fixing a bike, or darning socks - if you’d rather fix things than buy new ones, this is definitely the place for you.
Breathing new life into broken treasures: Every first Wednesday of the month, we’ll come together to repair items with tools, tips, and helping hands. It’s a great way to conserve resources—and it’s a lot of fun, too!
- When? November 4, 4:00–6:00 p.m. (every first Wednesday of the month)
- Where? Hylec (Co-Learning Space, Joseph-von-Fraunhofer-Str. 18)
- Who? Students and staff at TU Dortmund University
This new initiative is a collaboration between Dortmund University Library and the Sustainability Office at TU Dortmund University.
