Library closed on public holidays in May / June
Please remember that all library locations and study areas will be closed on the upcoming public holidays in May and June.
The library and study areas will be closed on the following holidays:
- Friday, May 1 (Labor Day)
- Thursday, May 14 (Ascension Day)
- Sunday, May 24 (Whit Sunday)
- Monday, May 25 (Whit Monday)
- Thursday, June 4 (Corpus Christi)
Restricted service on Saturday, May 23:
On the Saturday before Pentecost (May 23, 2026), the Emil-Figge-Bibliothek will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., but without library services: no new registrations, no information and advice and no issue of special collections. The Sebrath-Bibliothek is open from 10.00 to 20.00.
