The Service for the Blind and Visually Impaired (SfBS) at Dortmund University Library has been providing literature in accessible form to blind or visually impaired members of TU Dortmund University since 1984.

From now on, the services of the Service for the Blind and Visually Impaired (SfBS) are also available to students with a reading disability. After prior registration and proof of reading disability, accessible documents already recorded in Sehkon can be downloaded.

Reading-impaired students can also order conversions into an accessible format themselves. In doing so, they can freely select font size, font type and line spacing, for example.

Interested students are welcome to contact the SfBS and clarify their individual needs with us.
