From 27.3.: Noise development due to fire protection work in the Emil-Figge-Bibliothek

From Friday, 27.03.2026, work will be carried out on the fire protection supply in the Emil-Figge-Bibliothek. Increased noise levels are to be expected during this time.

The library is still open for you with the usual service and opening hours . Workstations, collections and services are also fully available as usual.

Please note, however, that there may be acoustic impairments due to the fire protection work and switch to other learning locations if necessary.

Alternative learning spaces:

  • Sebrath-Bibliothek: open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and at weekends from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Co-learning space: open Monday to Friday from 6.30 a.m. to 1.00 a.m. and at weekends from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 a.m.
  • Downtown learning space (for students of TU Dortmund University, Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts and UA Ruhr): open Monday to Friday from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. and at weekends from 10.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m.
