The following topics will be covered:
- Introduction to the most important industrial property rights (patents, utility models, trademarks, design patents)
- Support for inventors at TU Dortmund University (under the Employee Invention Act)
- Search strategies and techniques (especially for novelty searches)
- In-depth analysis and decision-making guidance based on real-world examples
The seminar aims to teach participants how to effectively use patent information for research and academic studies. The event is organized by the Information Center for Technology and Patents in collaboration with the Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology Transfer at TU Dortmund University, the Dortmund Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and the Dortmund Chamber of Crafts.
Participation is free for students and employees of TU Dortmund University.
