Zotero Introduction

Zotero supports students and researchers in collecting and organizing literature and can be used with all common operating systems.

The literature management program Zotero is a free software that helps students and researchers to collect, organize, annotate, cite and share literature. Zotero can be used with Mac, Windows, Linux and via the app for iOS, iPadOS and Android.

The next introductory course at the University Library will take place on

  • Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • at Emil-Figge-Str. 50, ITMC room U.331
  • to the registration

The course is open to all members of TU Dortmund University who have little or no previous knowledge of Zotero. Our focus is on: Creating a reference collection, creating a bibliography, creating citations, using the Word add-in.
