Offer of the Month

WPR is an interdisciplinary research platform that offers a comprehensive overview of philosophical works from antiquity to modern times. The University Library has trial access until 31.12.24!

The research platform Works of Philosophy and Their Reception (WPR ) focuses on the reception and influence of philosophical works across different traditions. From 2025, new articles will be published regularly on a quarterly basis.

Notes on use

The texts in the database are html-based. Footnotes can be viewed both via the mouse-over function and at the end of the respective texts. The bibliographic information in the bibliography is linked directly to Google Scholar, which facilitates access to a large number of sources. These links usually lead to freely accessible full-text PDFs or those licensed by the university library. However, there is no direct link to the Dortmund University Library's Katalog plus.

The test phase of the platform runs until December 31, 2024.
