Smart Literature Research with AI: exploiting Opportunities, recognizing Limitations

Students learn how to carry out AI-supported literature research, e.g. for term papers or their Bachelor's or Master's thesis, in a planned, skillful and efficient manner. The courses take place either online or in person.

Artificial intelligence is currently on everyone's lips. But where exactly does it bring real added value to literature research?

The University Library (UB) shows students in a compact and practical way what is helpful, what is possible, where pitfalls lurk and how they can use AI confidently and safely.

In the summer semester 2026, the UB offers three dates to choose from. Register for one of the dates free of charge via our booking system:

  • Thursday, 21.5.2026, 10:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m., online course
  • Tuesday, 9.6.2026, 10:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m., course on site
  • Tuesday, 14.7.2026, 10:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m., online course
