Scanning with your own Smartphone

Documents and books can now be scanned with a smartphone at two library locations. Use the practical scan tent!

How it works

Books or documents can be easily scanned at the new scanning tent stations in the Emil-Figge-Bibliothek and the Sebrath-Bibliothek. There is no need for a USB stick or sending them by e-mail. Simply install and open a free app for scanning (e.g. DocScan) on your smartphone, then place the device on top of the holder. Place what you want to scan under the tent and follow the instructions in the app.

The scan tent can be used to scan formats up to A3 in size.
