Scan instead of print - conveniently in the library

In the library, you can scan excerpts from books or documents free of charge and conveniently at numerous book scanners [1].

From 28.2.2022, TU Dortmund University will offer only scanning facilities on campus instead of the previous printing and copying machines. In addition to the book scanners in the library, feed scanners will also be set up to enable single-sheet feeding.

Lower paper consumption is another step on the way to sustainability for the TU Dortmund. Should a printout be necessary after all, you can fall back on the copy store or the central duplication [2].
