New: Campus-Süd-Bibliothek from March 2025

Both libraries on South Campus will be closed for the move at the end of February! They will reopen as the new "Campus-Süd-Bibliothek" on March 5.

Something is happening on storey building 1: the Departmental Library of Architecture and Civil Engineering is being merged with the Departmental Library of Spatial Planning; the move will take place at the end of February. From Wednesday, March 5, the new Campus-Süd-Bibliothek will be located on the 4th floor, where the Departmental Library of Spatial Planning is now located.

The journals from this area (approx. 6,000 volumes) will be moved to the storage magazine. As before, orders for journal articles can be placed via catalog plus.

During the move from February 24 to March 4, both departmental libraries on South Campus will be closed. Please order books and journal articles as usual via catalog plus. If you have any questions or in urgent cases, please contact the colleagues in the departmental libraries.

The collections and workstations of the Campus-Süd-Bibliothek will move to the new University Library building in 2029. All of the University Library's holdings will all be in one place. Until then, all media can be ordered from all locations to all locations.
