New: Pick up Interlibrary Loans yourself!

A right hand pulls out an orange book from a wooden shelf.

So far only possible in a few libraries in Germany: Books ordered for you from other libraries are available for you on the reservations shelf.

From now on, you can pick up newly provided interlibrary loans yourself. The interlibrary loan media ordered from other libraries can be borrowed at the lending machine after they have been equipped with RFID tags at Dortmund University Library. This means that collection is now possible during all opening hours.

Interlibrary loan requests can be found on the back of the reservations shelf. There, the media are arranged in alphabetical order, sorted by the shelf marks on the spine label. You can find the shelf mark in your pick-up notification by email.
