Evaluation tool for publication landscape

The evaluation tool SciVal is now available to members of the TU Dortmund University. Based on the Scopus publication data, researchers can get an overview of the publication landscape in individually definable scientific fields. For example, identify topics with (funding) momentum, find national or international cooperation partners, or identify suitable candidates for vacant professorships or guest lectures in your department. The University Library supports you individually!

Are you looking for cooperation partners from science or industry for a project?

We identify universities, non-university research institutions and companies that have successfully published on the topics you have mentioned and/or that cite your publications and patents.

You would like to know which of your research topics are currently of particular interest and therefore may also be of interest to funding bodies?

SciVal offers key figures for algorithmically determined topics and topic clusters, which reflect the momentum, i.e. current research interest in the topics.

You are a member of an appointment committee and would like to get an overview of researchers in the advertised field in order to encourage particularly suitable candidates to apply in advance?

We would be happy to prepare reports on individually definable research areas in consultation with you.
