More accessible texts for TU Dortmund!

The Service for the Blind and Visually Impaired (SfBS) is now an "authorized body" according to the Copyright Act [1]. As a result, the SfBS can offer a much larger pool of accessible texts, as documents can now also be exchanged between different implementation services.

For many years now, the SfBS of the University Library has been working closely with DoBuS [2] to ensure that blind and visually impaired students and members of the TU Dortmund University can work with barrier-free converted literature. With the registration as an authorized body, the SfBS additionally benefits from the fact that duplicate productions can be avoided through the exchange with other bodies.

The documents can be found in the catalog Sehkon [3], which currently contains over 14,000 references.
