LinkedIn Learning offers video training for self-paced, location- and media-independent learning, true to our motto "Learn how you want!"

Diverse learning offerings

The platform offers structured access to a variety of didactically and professionally prepared teaching units in German and English. Audio & Music, Business, Developer, IT, Education & E-Learning are just a few examples of the training courses you can view and study at various learning levels.

As you learned before the new year when logging into Lynda.com, existing accounts from Lynda.com were not automatically migrated to LinkedIn Learning. So the first time you log in to LinkedIn Learning, you will start with a new account. The course content that was available to you on Lynda.com will also be available on LinkedIn Learning if you wish to continue any units you have not yet completed.

Your access to LinkedIn Learning

The images listed in the image gallery show how the initial login to LinkedIn Learning works.

Figure 1: Access to LinkedIn Learning is done using Shibboleth. Therefore, authenticate yourself with your UniAccount....

Figure 2: ... and specify how you want your data to be shared with LinkedIn Learning.

Figure 3: If this is your first time accessing LinkedIn Learning, you can link any existing LinkedIn account to your LinkedIn Learning profile. This is optional. Even without a linked LinkedIn account, you can use LinkedIn Learning to its full extent, e.g. maintain a course list and save the progress of individual units.

Figure 4 and 5: LinkedIn Learning then suggests a number of course topics that you can select to have suitable courses displayed.

Access to LinkedIn Learning can be found here [2]; in addition, all videos are also listed in the UB catalog.
