First Conference Proceedings published on TUDObooks

The conference proceedings for the 11th International Workshop on Reliable Engineering Computing: Reliability Computations in a Data and Model-Driven World, organized by Prof. Faes’s Chair of Reliability Engineering, have just been published by TUDObooks. The workshop will take place September 2–5, 2026, at the International Meeting Center (IBZ) at TU Dortmund University.

The proceedings include 51 peer-reviewed articles as well as abstracts of the keynote presentations, all of which address a central question: How can data-driven methods and machine learning be integrated with established engineering principles and physical models in such a way that computer-aided predictions remain transparent, trustworthy, and scientifically sound?

The volume containing the conference proceedings is available for reuse under the CC-BY open-access license. Dortmund University Library provides the TUDObooks platform, and library staff handle the entire publication process.
