From 1 April open again until 1 a.m.!

Due to energy saving measures, the Central Library had since October 2022 only been open until 10 p.m., the Emil-Figge-Bibliothek remained closed on Saturdays.

It's springtime! As a public institution, TU Dortmund University has been obliged to save energy since last fall. As one of many measures on campus, the library's opening hours are shortened in the evenings until the end of March. With the end of winter, the Library is finally opening longer again! Effective 4/1/2023:

Central Library

Monday to Friday 8 a.m. - 1 a.m. (service hours: until 6 p.m.)
Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. - 1 a.m. (service hours: Saturdays 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.)

Emil Figge Library

Monday to Friday 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. (service hours: until 3:30 p.m.)
Saturday: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (with security service)
