1st brand seminar "Advantage through brand protection: First register, then get started!"
Trademark law and trademark research: The seminar is aimed primarily at those interested in founding a company and deals with important topics for founders, from protected brand names to their own company logo.
The seminar is organized by Information Center Technology and Patents (ITP)

The following topics will be covered:
- introduction to the world of trademark law
- rights and obligations of trademark owners
- search strategies and techniques
- presentation of the strengths and weaknesses of freely usable trademark databases
The aim of the seminar is to show the path from finding a name or finalizing a logo design to registering a trademark. The event is organized by the Information Centre for Technology and Patents.
Participation is free of charge for students and employees of TU Dortmund University.
