Digital Sheet Music via App: Henle and nkoda now available Campus-wide
With the right apps, you as a member of the TU Dortmund have piano and chamber music as Urtext editions from Henle-Verlag quickly at hand, as well as millions of scores from nkoda.
"Everything is new in May": On a trial basis, all members of TU Dortmund University [1] can now save or print out Henle Verlag scores as PDFs for one year. The Henle Library App can currently be used on the tablet and not yet on the smartphone. A more detailed description of how to download the app and how to register can be found on the Henle Library website [2].
The use of sheet music via the nkoda app will be unified for Apple users starting in May; nothing will change for other operating systems. Nkoda provides access to 30 million pages of sheet music. They can be downloaded and even annotated on the respective devices, but printouts or screenshots are not possible. More detailed information can be found in DBIS [3].
